Sunday Mini Styles #11

I am loving this weather! I mean sure, we did have patches of rain throughout the week and one day where the downpour rarely stopped. However all is forgiven for the heat we have had and that the glorious sun has been out in all it's glory on many occasions.

The outfit that I feature this week has been a favourite of mine. I think shorty dungarees are so cute. During winter I teamed them with tights and long sleeve vests. This week was the first time I dressed baby girl in them without tights. She's probably only got a few more wears out of them as they are 6-9 month size and getting a bit tight so I just had to feature them this week. I make sure I include all of our faves because I hope that when baby girl gets older she will be able to look back at what I used to dress her in. And hopefully she will like what she wore!

Next dungaree shorts
Mothercare vest
H&M headband
Converse hi-tops

Such a model in the making. Always pouting.

SO much to talk about this week.
  • The launch of Little Bump Shop last Sunday went so well. I'm so excited that I have finally gone live with my own little business. Now it's time to grow this baby!
  • My Cookie In a Jar recipe that I posted on Tuesday was a hit. I got so many of you contacting me telling me that you loved it and were going to try it and some that already had. I even had someone feature it in an unusual fathers day gift guide (thanks Natalie x). I honestly can't tell you how much that means to me. I post my baking recipes because I love them so much I just want to spread the word. To hear that you all like them too just makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. My recipe posts take the longest time to put together. From getting the recipe right, to taking the perfect shots, to writing out the recipe and making sure it's in the right code so that Google recognises it's a recipe. But it's ALL worth it! :)
  • We got baby girl's passport back. Woohoo! J and I have decided that we are going to book a last minute deal and take her on a little summer holiday somewhere in Europe in a couple of weeks time. My love of travel is entrenched deep within me and it feels like a very long time since we've had a getaway so I'm very much looking forward to it. Any suggestions on family friendly locations or we we could get a good deal would be greatly appreciated. (This also means holiday fashion in a couple of weeks. Woohoo!)
  • Baby girl is starting to want to stand by herself. She has been able to do it for a couple of seconds at a time before reaching out clutching me tightly, but I'm sure it's not going to be too long until she succeeds. She is a determined little girly!
  • She's started to do lots of angry sounding mmmmmm sounds. I've realised she does it when she's hungry and she's actually asking for milk. So mummy her first word. Mmmmmmmm (milk) her second word. I wonder when she will say daddy? J is waiting patiently bless him.
We're off to go out and enjoy the sunshine now for a picnic in the park with baby girl's godmother. I haven't seen my gorgeous friend in the longest of times and I can't wait to catch up with her.

Have a fab week ahead!

  2. Lovely outfit. I must confess I always bought my two the next size up so their clothes were probably never as snug fitting. They grow so fast, don't they!

    1. Great minds think alike! I brought these for baby girl when she was 3 months old so we have done very well with them. Growing out of sizes every 3 months is way too quick. Lots of shopping fun but it can get expensive! X

  4. These dungarees are so adorable, and the converse, so cute! She is at the age where so much changes really quickly and she's doing lots of firsts, Lizzy's first word was dada, then mama, then more!

  5. What a fab little outfit! I love dungarees and this pair are so cute. I love the fact they are little shorts and they go so well with the pastel coloured tee. We are big fans of converse in our house and so are loving these! I like how they are the high top versions. So cool. The hairband is fab and really finishes off the outfit! Loving everything as always. How awesome that she's standing and reaching lots of milestones, what a clever little cookie. I hear ya on the holiday front. We're trying to book something at the moment too! Hope you had a lovely weekend! Thanks for linking up with #weekendbabystyle xx
