Sunday Mini Styles #20

Sunday Mini Styles is 20. Woohoo!

I'm so glad I started this series. It's so much fun to put these posts together - choosing the outfits, taking photos with baby girl and updating you all on my week.

This week has taken me by surprise. It feels like we went from summer to winter in a week. Although I feel like I have been doing a lot of shopping for baby girl lately, much of it has been in summer sales gearing up for our Australian holiday and next summer and I realised we had a lack of winter basics. So what can a mummy do in that situation other than hit the shops? I had a big spree in Zara. That's one of my favourite places for both myself and baby girl.

In saying all of this, I'm not quite ready to start the winter baby fashion posts yet so I thought I would try and squeeze in at least one more summery number.

Ivy & Mulberry vest | Gap denim shorts | H&M sunglasses | Vintage scarf | Monsoon mocassins

Confession - the sunglasses have no chance of staying on but she loves playing with them constantly taking them off and putting them back on. How cute are they?

This #OOTD was a bespoke design. I told the fabulous Ivy & Mulberry that I wanted the hashtag, she came back to me with 3 different designs and I picked this beauty.

This scarf is a vintage peice from mammas closet. I wonder if when she's old enough to choose what to wear whether she will appreciate my hand me downs or be embarrassed by them haha.

News for this week:
  • I've been bad at blogging and social media this week and pretty quiet. I promised the chalkboard tutorial and it just hasn't happened. Baby girl has been really unwell and the last half of the week she has really needed me all the time, even at nap times and during the night. I haven't had many opportunities to tuck into my laptop and when I have, it's been to get some work done for Little Bump Shop. I've been working on the chalkboard tutorial as well as catching up on a load of other posts so it will definitely be live this week.
  • I launched a new Little Bump Shop range and I'm super proud of it. As well as doing flower bouquets and posies, we also now do sock cupcakes.
  • J and I have decided to start baby girl in nursery one day a week. It has certainly been an interesting experience scoping out the local nurseries. I feel confident we have picked a great one and she starts her settling in sessions this week. It feels like the end of an era being able to completely to protect her from the outside world. It makes me super emotional but I know she will thrive as she's such a social bunny.
This  week has been a hard one to keep up with the news and makes me remember how lucky I am. I believe that some big changes need to happen internationally, but in the meantime even the smallest contributions can help.
