Sunday Mini Styles #47

Today's outfit is bits and pieces of older favourites that you may have already seen. The key to dealing with this strange weather we are having is layering. I can't dress Baby Girl in things that are too thick. She's always been a bit of a hot baby anyway and she is currently going through a stage where she insists layers of her clothes come off at a moments notice. The day that she wore this outfit, at one stage she was down to her dress alone. However it was cold outside and she needed to be warm during our outings.

Hunter & Rose Dress  |  H&M tights  |  H&M jacket  |  H&M top knot  |  Next boots

The day I took these photos was a fro free day. I've been braiding her hair a lot lately and I like to have some days where I just brush it out and leave it be. I think it looks cute.

I'm still this jacket from H&M. It's still a little big for her which is fine because she'll get loads of wear out of it.

These boots have done us well during winter but are starting to get a bit snug so I think this is one of the last times she'll wear them. I've already stored so many clothes away in case we need them for the next baby but we are starting to collect far too much. They grow out of them so quickly. I'd love to hear what you do with clothes that don't fit anymore?

Always looking out the window.

What's news for this week?

  • I joined the gym! I decided it's time to get more active. I've tried to keep motivated with home workouts but I just couldn't stick to it and Baby girl was always a distraction / excuse so I thought I'd give the local gym a go. I've been twice already and really enjoyed my workouts - which I didn't expect.
  • We're approaching the terrible twos, I can feel it. Baby Girl is being quite testing some times so both me and hubby are both learning how to deal with that in the best way. Any advice?
  • I re-posted Baby Girl's birth story in support of caesarean awareness week. She was a c-section baby.
  • I launched my very first linky #MinisMeals - a weekly meeting place giving inspiration for feeding little ones and family. Would love to see you over there if you need some inspo or if you'd like to link up any recipes, weaning support, lunchbox ideas, cooking with kids, weekly meal plans, grocery hauls etc.
  • I had another wonderful guest, Mim from Love From Mim join me for the next instalment in my Day With series.

To my UK friends, I hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday weekend however you are spending it. I'm off to a leaving do this afternoon. One of my very good friends who I know from Australia and has been in the UK for nearly as long as I have has decided to go back home to live. One of the horrible things about living in London is that it's such a transient city and I feel like I'm constantly having to say goodbye to my friends *sheds a tear*

Much love.

    1. I know right? The solution is definitely layering. This past weekend all he layers were off as we were baking in 27 degree sun. Bring on more of that kind of weather I say xx
