Sunday Mini Styles #32

I realise I'm a day late with this post and it's Monday, but this is the first chance I've had to sit down at my laptop and I didn't want to leave it a whole week before I post these outfit shots. So I just had to share as soon as I had the chance.

Gap Dress  |  Next Sandals  |   Kmart Hat  |  Mini & Minnie bow

We took a trip to the Melbourne Zoo and this was Baby Girl's outfit. It was a 35 degree day so keeping cool and shaded was important. I thought this dress with black panther print was perfect for the occasion.

Last weeks mini style photos were taken on a country deck and this weeks were taken on our inner suburb apartment balcony with a view of Chapel Street, St Kilda and Port Melbourne. Baby Girl loved the view and hasn't taken on her Daddy's fear of heights.

It's so nice to have a view where you can look at the landmarks and they bring back memories. My little brother played many games of football on this pitch below. It's his old high school.

This dress is so simple but so cute. The criss cross and ruffle sleeves are my fave feature.

This hat is the first of many Australian purchases I'll share with you. It's from a store called Kmart. It's a department store that has a bit of everything. I'm particularly excited about picking up some home bits from there before we go.

Here's a photo of the full view we had whilst we were at our apartment. The big street that you can see running through the middle is a fab shopping, restaurant, bar and club strip called Chapel Street. You can see just how close the beach is to the centre of Melbourne. Most suburbs in Melbourne are pretty close to the coast and you can always find a quiet patch of beach to yourself somewhere even on the hottest of days.

This week we are staying at the beach. It's less than a week until Christmas and I'm so excited. This year is going to be super dooper special. I'll be heading back to my Mum's house on Christmas eve to help with preparations and have a traditional pre Christmas evening with her watching Christmas carols and wrapping gifts. What are your Christmas plans?
