Sunday Mini Styles #13

Because we are getting ready for our summer holiday so we have been trying out cute holiday outfits...

This is an important announcement. Zara is having a sale. This fills me with excitement, but also a bit of dread. Excitement, because there are so many cute bits to score that are a fraction of the price. Dread because so many things that I have picked up in the last few months, some that baby girl hasn't even worn yet are on sale, some at 50% of the full price. I really need to learn to get better at bulk buying in the sales.

I scored this dress for £7.99 and I'm so in love with it. It comes with some contrasting adorable panties and I think it's going to be the perfect piece to take on holidays with us. And then for the hot summer days we are guaranteed to have when we return to the UK *insert sarcasm here, but be very hopeful*.

This week I'm all about the packing for our trip. I can't wait to start. I'm normally the type to pack the night before we leave on holiday but now that we have baby girl I know I need to be super organised. Any tips for packing for a summer holiday for a baby?

News for this week:
  • Saturday was my very first birthday as a mummy It's the first birthday I've had for as long as I can remember where I haven marked he occasion with an event. I figured, I'm 32 and I have my beautiful girl (and J of course) to hang out with so I just had a super lazy day with my family and loved every minute of it.
  • I have to share my birthday weekend with J. But that's OK. Today is his first ever Father's Day and I can't wait to celebrate.
  • It's also baby girl's 10 month birthday today. Need to get the camera out for her monthly photo shoot!
  • This special weekend is the start of celebrations for our family. Next weekend is our 2nd wedding anniversary and the week after that is J's birthday. Then I'll be full steam ahead preparing for baby girl's first birthday in August.
Happy Sunday as always peeps!

  1. I found when my daughter was a baby/toddler that we only wore a fraction of the clothes I took. So, put the outfits you want her to wear on the bed, work out what can be worn twice and what shoes go with the most outfits, then put away the ones that only get one wear or need different shoes. I pack everything for a 2 week holiday into a hand luggage bag! If you're spending most of the day by a pool, she won't be wearing clothes during the day, so you can limit the day clothes.

  4. How how how cute is that denim pinafore! How did I miss this beauty in Zara?! It literally goes perfect with the Holly Willoughby bodysuit. Such gorgeous colours! The headband is super sweet too. The mint green coloured headband looks so pretty with the light denim. Another gorgeous outfit! Loving it! Hope you had a lovely birthday, weekend and Father's Day :) xx #weekendbabystyle

  7. The whole outfit is just gorgeous! I love denim pinafore dresses for little girls, and the headband is too cute, does she keep it on? I think Lizzy wouldn't last a minute with a headband although she's really good at keeping hair bobbles in. #tt_thursday

    1. She keeps the headbands on for now but I'm sure it's only a letter of time before she starts taking them off. I struggle with shoes, she constantly tries to take them off and all she wants to do is eat them. She mainly just wears them for photos haha x

  11. OH MY GOODNESS!! This outfit is beautiful! As a rule, I avoid Zara (The whole Rabbit-fur-gate thing really put me off them).... I may have to break my boycott after seeing this though!! #TT_Thursday
