Followers of my baby fashion posts will know that baby girl is not lacking in the shoe department. Her collection could rival some adults. I buy her shoes because I think they are cute or would go well with an outfit. I guess the size by sight and then she wears them for all of 5 minutes before she rubs her feet together like a genie and kicks them off. The shoes that she has been wearing are proper baby ones with soft soles.
Now that baby girl is so close to walking I can smell it, I decided she needs some proper crawling to walking shoes that are the right fit, comfy and a hard sole for her to walk anywhere in them. So we took a visit to Clarks!

Our sales assistant took a polaroid of us to mark the special occasion of her first pair of shoes. I thought this was such a nice touch. She also gave us a card to keep track of her sizes and the shoes come in this gorgeous box that I will keep forever to store them in once she has grown out of the. Clark's recommend you get the sizes checked every 6-8 weeks. Is that really how quickly little feet grow? *says goodbye to own shoe budget*
The shoes were £26 which is far more than any other shoes I have brought for her, but you can tell the quality is great and they look super comfy.
It took her a while to get used to them, but she seems to have nailed it. She actually keeps these ones on too! Time for the last bits of baby proofing for the house and then come on baby walking - I'm ready for you!
