I can hardly believe that my second ever Mother's Day is a mere few weeks away. I can't wait to spend the whole day having fun with my princess. I may even get my husband J to make me breakfast in bed. That's Mothers Day rights isn't it?
Becoming a mother is the best thing I have ever done and it's nice to have a little day to reflect on my biggest achievement in life. Apart from my breakfast in bed wishes and spending the day with my most amazing daughter, I couldn't ask for anything else. I imagine most mums out there would agree with me?
I've put together a list with some of my recent faves and created a little gift idea post for the upcoming Mothering Sunday. Each item is under £5. Chose one that she will really enjoy, mix and match and hey - if you want to go all out put together a hamper with all of these fabulous items, but believe me - she won't want you to go busting the bank. It's all about love, family time, breakfast in bed and perhaps a little token gift. There's some beauties in my list, hopefully it gives you some good ideas.
H&M monochrome cushion cover £3.99
Primark monochrome tea towel set £2.50
Lindt armour heart box £4.99
Tiger hexagon tea light holder £2.00
Lush big blue bath bomb £3.50
Sainsbury's pastel tulips bunch £2.50
Primark pack of 40 fairy lights £3.50
H&M do the most amazing cushion covers. The thing I like most is that you don't have to buy the whole cushion meaning that you can simply replace the covers on your existing cushions when you fancy a change. I love regularly changing them up and it means I don't have 100 cushions laying around the house.
I have been so impressed with Primark Home lately. Being a monochrome lover myself, their black and white range is on point. Their home everything is pretty cool and so affordable. This tea towel set is super cute and the quality feels great. I love the fairy lights, it can totally change a dull area of the house instantly.
Lindt chocolate is my fave. It's not normally something that I would buy myself so when I get it as a gift I feel totally spoilt! This gorgeous love heart shaped box is filled with the deliciously original Lindt truffles.
I pop into Tiger far too often. They change over their stock really regularly and I can always find some cool home bits, When I saw this tea light holder I knew I had to have it. I couldn't believe how much of a bargain it was.
Lush Big Blue is life haha. I've already spoken about my love of these babies. A delicious smelling bath bomb and the promise of an uninterrupted bath - now that is my idea of the perfect mummy 'me' time.

Do you think a special mummy in your life would like anything on my list? What are your own mothers day plans?
* The wonderful team at Lindt sent me a very special mothers day package and I decided to include it in this post. I can't promise that some of the chocolate hasn't already been consumed. It's too good to refuse! All opinions are honest and my own.

DeleteAbsolutely love that tea light holder, I love Tiger too, such a great shop. I used it for my secret santa surprises this year and found some really cool things for not much cash. Great to set the fiver budget too.
ReplyDeleteTiger is the perfect place for secret Santa. You could buy loads for a fiver too! X
