Sunday Mini Styles #44

This week I've been shopping! I realised that Baby Girl is growing out of her current wardrobe and he needed lots of bits to suit her in the warmer months. This time of year I always have a bit of a spree. I really do love winter fashion but as the days start to get warmer I get excited with adding light and bright summery pieces again.

The dress I'm featuring today is great for the transition into warmer days. It's a gorgeous jersey cotton material and is pretty thick. You can add tights, cardigans, jackets and layer up or down to suit the day.

H&M dress  |  Zara sandals  |  Cotton On hair tie

I think Baby Girl looks so adorable in the dress. It fits her perfectly and I love the navy and white stripes on her. The best bit is this is so comfy for her.

The gold zip at the back adds a bit of specialness to the dress and makes it even more convenient for me when I'm trying to dress her.

Working on her toddler fashion poses and owning it.

I've been practicing my baby rows. This was my first attempt at multiple ones. I need to work on making it neater but I'll get there!

I filmed a video featuring my toddler clothing haul for my YouTube channel including all of my latest purchases and the dress featured in this post. You can check it out here:

What's news for this week?

  • My little girl is growing up! She has graduated from the baby room and is going to be starting in the next room up as of Monday. It's tugging at my heart a little.
  • Her speech is coming on massively. She's started putting words together now. Every single day I notice that it's developed even more. It's so lovely to see. I'm sure it won't be long until we start having conversations.
  • I've realised I've been too blasé about trying to eat healthy. It's a constant battle. Back to making a conscious effort from this week.
  • I've written two posts about our holiday, one about our African adventures and then a special one dedicated to what we ate in Lagos.
I hope you're all having a blessed Sunday.

    1. Yes to the nautical styles. I think they can be quite girly without being flower or pink. Love it! x

  2. I love stripes particularly when they're chic nautical ones. It's such a cute look particularly with the cool sandals. As for the hair, I hear you on the baby rows. I'm dreading doing Lolo's hair as she gets older. My mum says it's all about practise. I think you've done a great job xxx Yvadney #WeekendTotStyle

    1. Haha it sure is a struggle. The more I do it, the more I get used to it. I'm still working on getting them super neat but I think it looks better every time I do it. Unless he's having a day where she just won sit still. LOL x

  4. That stripey dress is so nice, I always love a stripey dress and I bet you could find something similar and twin with her! I've watched your clothing haul for baby girl and I love everything you've bought, I enjoy buying summer over winter stuff aswell. I've also ordered a pair of the Zebra leggings from Baby Brain Apparel to go with an animal top from Zara. Some great outfits as usual. Have a great weekend x #WeekendTotStyle

    1. Haha I'm forever wishing I could twin with her and the truth is, I buy her way more clothes than I buy myself and what I buy for me is so much more about practicality! Ahhhh love that leggings and t-shirt combo, it looks fab x

    1. Oh goodness. Beware of entering! I don't know if you've seen my haul yet but I always get sucked in to H&M kids and I came out with so many bits! I even went in there again the other day, picked up a whole load of things and then put them back because Baby Girl hasn't even started wearing the first lot I got her haha x

  8. I do love stripes and that dress looks fab. I love her sandals though - they're amazing! And I'm also amazed you have a toddler that sat still long enough for you to do her hair like that. My boy barely stays still long enough for me to run a comb through his hair! #WeekendTotStyle
