My latest shopping obsession recently has been things for our home. Our house was completely renovated last year and I absolutely love it. We've chosen everything from the floorboards, to the light fixtures and even the kitchen cupboard handles. Every. Little. Detail.
We were so happy when our renovations were complete, it takes a lot out of you! I had a vision for all of the small details I wanted to add to make my vision complete but then I got kind of busy having a baby and getting through the first year of motherhood so that was pushed to the side. But now I have a new found energy to get the finishing touches just right and I have spent many hours hunting down the perfect home interior bits and bobs.
I don't think that you could ever feel like you have completely finished styling and accessorising your home. Tastes and needs are constantly evolving. I am feeling content that the house is nearly just as I want it. I'm really happy with some of the things I've picked up recently so I just had to share them. All of these things were purchased in the last month and so should still be available to buy (October 2015).
I just love this tray. It's so versatile. Random things don't look like clutter at all when placed on this beauty.
I thought these were a bargain, compared to others I had seen elsewhere. They are sold individually and I got 4 of them. If it was up to me we would have fresh flowers in the house all the time but J can occasionally get allergies so we compromise and fresh flowers is a sometimes thing and these keep me happy for the rest of the time.
This is another item that masks clutter well. I like to keep bits and pieces by my bedside so this is great to keep them in. It's also a quick place to put any jewellery that I'm taking off at the end of the day.
We do love a blanket in our house. We are gaining quite a collection and running out of places to put them so I purchased this storage box. It's so lovely. It opens and closes gently and fits loads in it. I got an extra big one for our super king bed.
These just scream comfort don't they? They are great for back propping when we have night time wakings from Baby Girl. I had to think twice about buying them because they are on the expensive side but they were so worth it.
I wanted to add a subtle touch of colour to our monochrome bathroom and these little plants do the job. Embarrassingly I thought they were real when I brought them. They really do look it!
I'm really feeling copper accessories lately and love that this fruit bowl is practical and stylish.
I'm loving H&M home right now and have to restrain myself from buying everything. Where are your favourite places to shop for home interiors? I would love to discover some more places to browse.
