Sunday Mini Styles #40

Today's outfit is a mixture of Australian and UK high street labels. I do love boutiques and little online shops but I like the convenience of high street brands, and the old schooler in me loves to look, touch and try things first. The excitement of bringing bags of goodies home with me is just as exciting as receiving online deliveries. Am I the only one that feels this way? I do prefer to have individual pieces and like that a lot of the shops I purchase bits from for Baby Girl move their stock quickly so a lot of her wardrobe is still quite individual to her.

H&M vest  |  Cotton On Kids trousers  |  Next trainers  |  Primark hair ties

Even though Baby Girl is 18 months old, I still love to dress her in vests - long and short. I feel like they are really comfortable for her, they stay in place and keep her nappy nice and snug too. I often still throw a vest under even if I'm dressing her in a normal shirt. I picked this vest up from H&M last week and I love the print on it.

The trousers are from our favourite Australian kids brand - Cotton On kids. How cute are they? It's hard to tell from the photos but the gold colour on them is a proper glittery gold and really pops. I'm in love with this print. I love monochrome and gold combos and I think the bits of pink are a lovely statement.

We pull the trainers out ever now and then but the Dr Martens are still her favourite. She's started wanting to walk everywhere now even when we are out  as opposed to being content in her push chair so comfy shoes that are good for her feet are really important.

This is another cosy type of outfit that Baby Girl would wear on a day where she wants to be super snuggly.

What's news in the Eat.Love.Live house?
  • Our holiday is quickly sneaking up. I'm going to have to think about what we need to pack soon and how I'll keep Baby Girl entertained on a 6 hour flight. It will be a night flight so I'm hoping she will sleep for most of it.
  • I am super super super excited to feature in April's edition of Gurgle magazine. I share a spread with some other super cool mummy bloggers and we're talking about our favourite toys. It's my new favourite magazine, and if you love a good mummy blog, I bet money on you loving this mag too.
  • I celebrated my first Blogiversary and I decided to change things up on my blog a bit. Hope you like the new format?
  • I've teamed up with one of my favourite mummy bloggers and good blogger friend Harps from Baby Brain Memoirs, she's also the founder of Baby Brain Apparel. Together we are running a giveaway featuring a mummy bundle including bits from both our little mummy run businesses and more.
  • I filmed my first face to face video on my YouTube channel and am preparing to film the next one hopefully next week. I'm loving it and can see this becoming one of my new favourite things. You can subscribe here if you fancy joining me for the ride.
  • I feel like Baby Girl has hit the terrible twos 6 months early. Some days in my house are quite frankly toddler filled tantrum pandemonium. I'm not going to lie - it is getting tough sometimes. If you have any advice on dealing with toddler tantrums please send it my way :/
  • The next lovely guest to join me in my day with mummy blogger series is Hannah from Hi Baby
  • If you're looking for great places to go in London. I recently visited Punch Room at The London Edition n Fitzrovia. It was totally amazing!!
Happy Sunday!

  2. The best is such a practical option, we love them too as they don't ride up with skirts and trousers. Unfortunately I'm too big for them now! Love the trousers and trainers - so cute! #WeekendTotStyle xx

  4. This outfit is so nice, I'd wear something similar myself! The colours and patterns remind me of summer. I'm also thinking a denim jacket or waistcoat would look good with it too #weekendtotstyle

  7. I still put Clem in vests, H&M ones are really good especially the long sleeved ones. They always have good patterns on them as well. I love those trousers, they go well with the trainers and vest.x
