Last week we celebrated baby girl's 9 month birthday.
What a milestone.
I have been a mummy for 18 months. 9 months where she grew protected in my womb and 9 months where I have practically wrapped her up in cotton wool and watched her grow into the gorgeous nearing toddler she is today. It's been a crazy ride, but it's truly been the best time in my life. I'm so proud of my baby girl.
I do need to let you in on something..... I have another baby.
This one has been gestating for longer than baby girl did. Just over a year actually.

A year ago, I had an 'AHA' moment.
I would start a business.
It would be for babies and parents.
I would start something of my very own and see where I can take it. I had been running and growing other peoples businesses for most of my career, for once I wanted to do it for me and my family.
The ideas started flowing, research was done, business plans were put together, I started doing my creative thing and before I knew it I was developing this little project. I knew it was really going somewhere.
I did set myself some unrealistic expectations. When I came up with my idea, I thought it would be live and kicking by the time baby girl was a few months old. Little did I know that my biggest priority, my baby girl, would need all of her mummy's time for a good 6 months. And that I would be in my bubble of newborn happiness (and sometimes sleep deprivation) so much so, that my launch would take just a little bit longer than I expected.
Not wanting to miss one little detail, and wanting everything to be perfect, I have been working on growing my other little baby since I've got some more time. I am so excited to let you know of it's imminent birth.
I would like to introduce you to Little Bump Shop.
Website launching this Sunday 31st May at 1pm.
What is Little Bump Shop all about?
We hand make beautiful and unique gifts that say a HUGE welcome to the world to a newborn baby and CONGRATULATIONS to new parents. We hand wrap our baby clothes bouquets with a lot of love. They are presented as a beautiful flower display but once unwrapped include a selection of baby essentials including socks, bibs, hats, bodysuits and muslin squares. Our bouquets are a unique surprise that makes a wonderful gift and is perfect for any occasion including baby showers, maternity leaving and even just saying good luck or congratulations. They are a great alternative to flowers, especially useful for hospital visits where ordinary flowers may not be permitted.
Little Bump Shop was inspired by my love of flowers, the need for baby essentials and the generosity of everyone around me from the moment I found out I was pregnant.
I will be shipping anywhere within the UK.

My other baby will be born on Sunday and I can hardly wait!
To celebrate the launch I'm going to be announcing a giveaway on launch day that I'll be running. You're going to want to know more about this giveaway. Not only will it include one of Little Bump Shop's bouquets but it will also contain a very special item that would make an amazing gift for a mum to be (or even enjoyed by the winner themselves). Here's a few hints:
- It's a luxury piece of jewellery
- It comes in a pretty blue box
- If you were to ever find a lost piece of this jewellery you should return it to an address in New York.....
Be sure to check back on Sunday afternoon for more details.
