I don't often visit Primark, the crowds, the queues, not being able to find your size, things thrown everywhere is enough to put me off however I do like their basics for myself and for such good prices I can put on my brave face and venture in. Yesterday I realised baby girl needed some plain body suits in the next size up. I normally buy these from Gap, however I'm trying to cut down on spending at the moment so I thought I might check out Primark. I quickly found what I was looking for. A 3 pack for £2.75, score!
But then I got sucked into the baby area and things kept jumping out at me and into my basket. Before I knew it I had 7 items. I justified each purchase and took them up to the till where I spent a grand total of £23.75 on everything, double score!
I was impressed with myself and picked up some really cute bits so I thought I'd share my haul with you.
3 pack long sleeved white bodysuits £2.75
These are still to be tested but the quality looks good to me, and at such a great price - I'll be coming back for more.
3 pack long sleeved monochrome printed bodysuits £4.00
I'm a sucker for all things monochrome and I couldn't resit this little monochrome bear set of body suits. It was in the boys section but it's totally unisex and I think they will look so cute on baby girl.
Denim look leggings £2.50
Baby girl can never have enough leggings. I have purchased her a few pairs of real denim but these are a lot comfier for her. Her daddy insists she's got years ahead of her to wear tight clothes, let our baby be comfy. He has a point!
Floral long sleeve shirt £5.00
I love everything about this shirt. The detailing is gorgeous and I love that it is long sleeve but super flowy. It's going to be great for summer days and I think it will look super cute with the leggings
3 pack bandana bibs £3.00
Forgive me for believing that we will not need bibs past 6 months. The dribble is relentless! Bibs are a must have and are pretty much part of her outfit these days. I'm loving everything pineapple at the moment so as soon as I saw these I snapped them up.
Tie front sleeveless chambray shirt £5.00
I have no words for this. I LOVE. That is all.
Cotton tote £1.50
I'm finding now for days out where I have to cart around lunches, snacks, milk, cups... there is just not enough room in her changing bag so I got this lovely tote for any extras we may need to take along with us. It's the perfect size and look at all those cute pink flamingos. I love that it's double sided.
No doubt you'll see how I style some of these in a Sunday Mini Styles feature. If you don't already know I do a post every Sunday on my favourite outfit my baby girl has worn that week. I have lots of fun doing photo shoots with her and she is becoming quite the little fashionista!

Ooh, I love a good Primark bargain! I'm exactly like you, I hate going in there but there's always something you can dig out that makes it worth it. Although I have been victim of the "Oh it's only £5, I'll get it!" and then never wearing it mistake XD
ReplyDeleteFor sure!! I have been a victim of that mistake. These goodies I'm confident will be well used x
DeleteWow, I am impressed with how much you bought for so little! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought anything lately apart from food... heheheh

Thanks! I was quite chuffed with myself.
DeleteHehe food is very important! ;)
Ahhh these are so very cute!! I never look in Primark but considering what a bargain the bodysuits are I should! They cost 4 times that in Mothercare! xx
ReplyDeleteTotally! I will def be going back in for the bodysuits. Baby girl has been wearing them over the last few days and they are great x
DeleteI love all the bits you chose! Primark is such good value as babies grow so quickly! xx

I know! Shopping for new clothes every 3 months is fun but expensive x
DeleteI love everything you bought! I already have the £2.50 Jeggings, love them and will probably get them in the next size up. Also love the tops and the bibs are super cute! Luckily Lizzy has never dribbled much past about 5months. I'm going to look for that flamingo tote next time I go in, I'm always using an ugly plastic bag! Xx

Blood thinking! I might have to go in and get the next size up too. She has some from Zara that were prob 3 times the price! I also went in hoping that I may find something like that gorgeous cardi that you posted last weekend but no such luck! X
ReplyDeleteAnd I was always carting things round in a plastic bag too which is why I thought this tote was perfect! X
DeleteI have recently bought leggings in Primark. I have to say they are brilliant. I am definitely going to buy more. Unfortunately there is not much variety for smallies. #thelist
ReplyDeleteBaby girl wore hers for the first time today. They are great. We'll be going back to get some more too x
DeleteSuch gorgeous stuff! I really should pay Primark a visit for my two (who are bit older!!) Thanks for linking up to #TheList xx
