We are at that weird time of the year where I always make sure my house is super toasty but when venturing out on some days the air is so cold my skin just stings. It's so hard to choose outfits that's suitable for both. The solution is layers!
This weeks outfit is something that is perfect for when we are indoors and then when we head out I just throw on some tights and outer layers and we are good to go.
Sofia Rose Boutique dress | Mini and Minnie socks | H&M hat | Schuh Dr. Martins
I brought this fabulous dress from one of my fave little shops I discovered on Instagram. It's still pretty big but I can see Baby Girl being able to wear it for seasons to come. I love the waterfall hem and I think grey really suits her.
Whilst we were in Australia Baby Girl's feet must have gone through a growth spurt. She lived in sandals and by the time we got back non of her close toes shoes fir her any more. I got her feet measured at Clarks and I just didn't love any of the styles in her size. Given that the ones in Clarks were £30, I decided to splash out £15 and get a pair of Dr Martens I had been lusting over ever since I saw the fashionista North rocking them. These days I would even question spending £45 on a pair of shoes for me but I couldn't resist. How adorbs are they?
This H&M beauty is our favourite hat right now. We don't leave the house without it and Baby Girl even insists on wearing it inside sometimes.
This week:
- We've been getting back into the swing of things slowly. We're finally over our jet lag, it took us a week!
- Baby Girl's vocabulary has gone through the roof. She attempts to say most words now but still has trouble expressing exactly what she wants. Her most use words are 'no no no no' 'more more more more' 'please please please please' or 'me me me me' giving me about 30 seconds to try and work out what she wants before she has a tantrum.
- Yes we have hit the tantrum stage. I'm a little bit terrified. She's only 16 months, aren't they meant to start at 2? Eeeeek!
- I've blogged about some of our travels this week with: What we ate in Melbourne and 4 things to do in Singapore when you are limited with time
- I'm excited to be re-opening Little Bump Shop on Monday. It was closed while we were away but I can't wait to get back into it.
Happy Sunday!

What a gorgeous outfit, as per usual, and so perfect for pottering around the house before layering up and going out :) I know what you mean about the weather just now, it's trued super chilly all of a sudden! I also know what you mean about Clarks...I've never actually liked any of their styles but you feel you have to buy them because they're 'good for their feet' (!!). Those Dr Martins are to die for! I've been wanting to get Little I a pair for ages. We are also obsessed with H&M hats...I've just realised how long my ramble comment is. Apologies! Thanks so much for linking up with us again petal and hope you've had a great weekend :) #weekendministyle
ReplyDeleteThe weather is crazy right? All of a sudden it's mild again! Yes totally re. Clarks. They do cute first shoes and I love the whole experience but they need to do some cooler toddler shoes. You do get a case of the guilts for not buying the best heels ey? I figure the docs must be pretty sturdy xx
DeleteI've got a pair of red Dr. Martens that I bloomin love! A dinky kids size 6! A stunning outfit! Love the socks! #TT_Thursday x
ReplyDeleteWow, your feet are tiny!! I used to have a red pair too, way way back x
DeleteOh my god, toddler Doc Martens, I didn't realise they did them that small - sooooo cute! And I love the hat, so cosy looking :-)
