Sunday Mini Styles #9

Because it's party time so the tutu dress was a must...

This weekend we celebrated my beautiful nieces first birthday. It's so lovely because birthday princess and baby girl are exactly 3 months apart, both born on the 21st. I have so many cousins but most weren't living in Melbourne growing up and the ones that were, weren't in my age group so I'm sure they're going to consider themselves very lucky when they get older and no doubt they'll be super close.

Her birthday party was held at a gorgeous little cafe called That Place On The Corner and it is SOOO cute. They set up the party beautifully, had lots of yummy food and a fairy princess came out and played games with all the kids. During the week they operate as a café strictly for parents and kids and they also run classes like baby ballet. If you're in London around the Stoke Newington area I highly recommend it. It was a lovely party and even at 9 months old baby girl had so much fun joining in with the dancing and games!

Not too much has been happening this week.
  • Baby girl is feeling better but I'm a bit under the weather now so we've been doing some hibernating and trying to recover once and for all.
  • She had her 9 month birthday! She has now been around for as long as I was pregnant and I've been riding this train of motherhood for 18 months. The best kind of train.
  • I have been working on my new project that I plan to launch next Sunday. More about that later in the week.

What are you all getting up to on this lovely long weekend?

  5. Another week, another gorgeous outfit! How cute is that tutu?! Loving the shade of Pink it is. It goes perfectly with that lovely top. Absolutely loving the appliqué on it. The sandals and bows are the perfect finish to such an adorable outfit. How lovely the girls were born exactly 3 months apart - I bet they will be super close when they are older. That place sounded fab. I had a friend who used to live in Stoke Newington but she's in Kentish town now! Apologies for the late comment this week - the internet has been very hit or miss where I've been visiting this bank holiday weekend! Hope you had a great weekend and thanks so much for linking up :) xx #weekendbabystyle

    1. I'm a sucker for a tutu. Have you seen my wedding post? My dress was like a giant tutu hehe. My fave part of London is Camden Town, I used to live there right next to Kentish Town but I love Angel, Dalston and Stoke Newington areas (and Soho!). I don't live Central any more. I miss it! Don't apologise at all, I hope you had a fab time with your family. Your insta shots look fab xx

  6. She is seriously just too cute! Love the outfit, I don't know why I've never bought a tutu for Lizzy before. Maybe for her 2nd birthday! Oh my gosh it's only 3 months away I can't bear it. Xx

    1. The dress is so lovely isn't it? I'm sure your daughter will look gorgeous in it. I don't think it will matter if it's a little big. I mean, who doesn't love an oversized tutu? X
