Sunday Mini Styles #28

The only thing this weekend has been good for has been to snuggle up indoors and bond with the family. I don't mind the weather getting colder but constant rain just makes me want to hibernate and never leave the house. *Dreaming of an Australian summer in a months time - bring on our holiday!*

This week's main feature is from one of our trusty high street favourites H&M. I love that H&M are both affordable and stock the latest trends. Grid patterned dungarees, who would have thought you could pick some up from H&M? From memory, I think they were £14.99 and I found them last week.

H&M Dungarees  |  H&M Long sleeved vest  |  Mini & Minni top knot  |  Converse shoes

Black and white with a pop of colour. I love these headbands but they never stay on for very long.

This vest is well loved. Spot the stainage! I thought twice about photoshopping it out but we're all friends here right? Let's be real!

A regular visit to her friends. She doesn't like them to stay sleeping in their 'home'. She likes to kiss each one, one by one and send them on a holiday to her bedroom floor.

Baby Girl telling me she's had enough of the photo shoot and it's time for bed. This is one of her new tricks - lying on the floor whenever she needs a rest. I find it totally adorable.

What's news for this week?

  • I got myself a new toy! I was craving some more creative ability with my photos and was sick of using my iPhone so I decided to buy an Olympus Pen 7 with an additional 45mm lense. I hope you can notice a difference with my photos this week? I'm still very much learning but am having so much fun. I love posting recipes so I'm looking forward to working on my food photography too.
  • Talking about recipes. I dragged out an old family favourite from my mum's recipe archive this week and posted the most delicious self saucing chocolate pudding recipe.
  • If you're a regular reader of my blog you will know that sleeping has been a big struggle for me and Baby Girl (and J too). One of my earliest blog posts was about missing my dear old friend sleep and I've also shared my technique of rocking and using music to get her to sleep, however in the last three months we have really been struggling and it's been affecting all three of us. This week I have been trying something different with our night time routine and it has worked! I can't believe it. After 15 months I finally feel like we are winning on the night time routine. I've written a sleep diary and will share it for any of you that want to know my secret. It contains minimal crying!

  3. HOW have those dungarees escaped my attention!! I thought I knew the whole H&M catalogue off by heart haha. They are amazing! I am all about the grid prints at the moment. Love that you've teamed it with plain white. And that hair bow is such a fab shade of lilac. Perfect outfit! Thank you so much for linking up with us doll and hope you had a great weekend :) #weekendministyle
