Sunday Mini Styles #30

Wow. Sunday Mini Styles is 30! I remember the evening when I just randomly started this blog nearly 9 months ago. I'm so proud of how far it's come and it has really helped with my sanity as a first time mum. Sunday Mini Styles has been something I've done consistently pretty much from the beginning and I still love writing up this post every week. Most importantly I have connected with so many cool mummies by writing these posts. Hello to all of you, I appreciate you :) x

Let me get straight into this weeks outfit.

River Island  denim shirt  |  H&M stripped vest  |  Gap jeans  |  Zara scarf & shoes

I can only apologise for the quality of this flat lay. The sun hid at 12.30pm (how rude!) and there was no natural light. No matter what I did to try and edit this photo it still didn't look great.

We've had this shirt for a long time. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to share it. I had been hunting for one for a long time and all the girls ones I found had frills or pick embellishments which I didn't want so I picked this one straight out of the boys section and it's perfect.

The shoes are still slightly too big, but lasted on her feet for this little shoot. I brought the shoes and the scarf in the Zara summer sale quite a few months back and from memory I scored a pretty bargain on them both.

You're probably sick of seeing these organic cotton H&M vests in my posts. Baby Girl really has been living in them in the colder weather.

I needed some props (slash toys) for this shoot. She's far too busy to stay still for a photo.

I am going to try and be consistent with my baby fashion posts in December but we will be travelling a lot so I may miss a week here or there. I am going home (to Melbourne) for Christmas, and I am taking Baby Girl back for the first time. A lot of my immediate family and some of my close friends have already visited UK and met her but I can't wait for her to meet the rest of the crew and take her to the places I used to go as a child. My heart is warmed just thinking about it.

Now to get back to the packing, but first - two questions:
  • How on earth do you manage with sharing a suitcase with your child? I always struggled before I had to share now it feels like Mission Impossible.
  • What would you do - pack all your favourite things so you can wear the outfits you love while on holiday or pack very little and take advantage of holiday shopping? I seem to be approaching very full status and haven't even finished packing yet. I really want to do lot's of shopping but I don't know what I could possibly part with that I've already packed. Eeeek!

Happy Sunday all!

  1. Oh I love this, it's so stylish. I love the stripes with the denim. I really like the scarf as well. Good luck with the packing, when we went away I packed far too much for Clem and not enough for me. I ended up mixing/matching my outfits.x #weekendministyle

    1. Haha that's what I'm worried about. I'm really trying to get the balance right for both of us. Tomorrow I start the holiday shopping which inevitably means I will need more space in my luggage! Argh x

  2. Another absolutely stunning outfit! I love your flat lays and sense of style. It's another outfit that I would definitely put Little I in and wish I could wear myself. The stripes and denim combo look great and I am loving the jeans and little shoes as well. The woven texture looks great! I am excited for you for your trip home. You must be counting down the days! Thank you so much for linking up with us petal and apologies for the late comment! #weekendministyle
